Western Spalding Booster Pump Station

Designing a booster pump station for boost pressure in their 12-inch water main which maintains pressure in the north-western part of the county where development is increasing.
PCG located the site and attained the required easements for the pump station. During the design of the 1600 gpm booster pumps and the 1000 lf of 12-inch ductile iron water main, PCG determined that there was a 6-inch PVC, an 8-inch PVC water main, a 12-inch tapping valve, and a 12-inch PVC force main which were field changed but not accurately portrayed on drawings.
PCG is working with the county to locate these utilities and will provide record drawings so the county can easily locate their buried assets.
