Southern Crescent Technical College Medical Technology Building

Prepared civil construction documents for the new 80,815 square foot medical technology building on the Southern Crescent Technical College campus.
Extensive demolition of parking lot and existing stormwater conveyances were required to provide the grounds for the facility and to provide a location for dedicated parking.
Achieved LEED Silver certification by making green choices for improvements to the site. Several characteristics of the site development contributed to LEED credits: Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, stormwater design and engineering, on- site detention system, implementing a control structure for quality control, landscape and hardscape design which maximized open-space, high SRI paving materials, maximization of the reduction of water usage.
