Flint River Pump Station Relocation

Designing 13.2 mgd raw water pump station
Relocate the existing 1929-built pump station out of the flood plain.
Pump station will be remotely controlled and allow operators the flexibility to match intake flows to treatment and storage needs
Conducting a hydraulic and surge analysis to ensure the city’s investment in both pumps and infrastructure are protected while meeting the high pump head conditions associated with pumping 8.5 miles.
